


BJJ promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger opponent. We will train you to execute takedowns, locks, chokes and immobilization techniques that are designed to disarm your opponent quickly and safely. Our instructors emphasize the sport as "the gentle art", one that relies on technique and properly executed moves and not power or force.
